BBC Strictly Come Dancing: Fans are already screaming for this dancing couple to go and it’s not who you think

The Strictly Come Dancing quarter-finals are upon us, as the dancing couples compete for a spot in the semi-finals tonight (December 4).

Last week, Tilly Ramsay became the ninth celebrity to leave the series alongside her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin. The duo performed their samba on Dua Lipa’s Levitating during the dance, but the performance was not enough to save them.

They faced off against CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson and pro Nancy Xu. Unsurprisingly, this duo should then be eliminated, depending on the betting odds. Rice power has the dance couple at 100/1 to win the competition, much lower than any of the other competitors.

Rhys and Nancy are way below the rest of the competition when it comes to the favorite to win on betting odds

But social media users seem to disagree with those predictions, as they are shouting at another celebrity – or “clam up” as it’s been dubbed – of “please go away this week”.

Unfortunately for him, it’s Dan Walker, along with his partner Nadiya Bychkova, who fans just don’t support.

One asked in exasperation, “How the hell is Dan still in there #strictly”, while another asked, “Can Dan go this week, but he won’t, because we can’t have nice things #Strictly ”.

Another even went so far as to say, “#Strictly just looked at my first one and only 2 minutes of that guts Dan Walker appears like a human void. A haunted blank stare behind those eyes …”

And another commented, “Dan just walks every dance. There is no power, no attack. It’s the same walk every week with different music. #Strictly.”

Some blamed the judges for Dan’s continued presence in the competition, someone remarked: “Is Dan going to be outscored again tonight? And another user added, “Shirley will give Dan a 9.”

One user summed up the point of view of many when he said, “Dan, your time to go has arrived #Strictly.”

But some were slightly more celebrity-friendly, with someone remarking, “Dan has really improved over the course of the show’s arc. And that’s what #Strictly is after all.”

While overall, the odds seem to be much more in line with fans when it comes to the show’s winner predictions. Rose Ayling-Ellis and pro Giovanni Pernice are Paddy Power’s favorites at 1/5, while users call the duo “my favorites”.
