Dan Walker has spoken out on a “difficult issue” after fans demanded a change to Strictly Come Dancing.

The iconic ballroom dance competition airs Saturday and Sunday, but viewers are tired of the pre-recorded feel of the Sunday show , Birmingham Live Reports.

The bottom two couples then have to dance again to impress the Strictly judges. Anyone who fails is sent home.

Nina Wadia was the first celebrity to get fired after tangoing.

A source told the Mail On Sunday: “Dan’s religion is very important to him and he will not be dancing on Sunday.

“It is a sacrifice he makes for his faith.

“While Nadiya will have to figure out, professional dancers become more competitive than celebrities by the end of the series, the rivalry between them is huge.”

He told the I: “I have always had this day as a family day. Sometimes it has been difficult, and some people find it strange that this is the position I have chosen to take. But it’s really important. I work a lot, so I have to make up for the fact that I’m not there. My faith is important to me. This is what makes me tick. Having time to rest, take a step back, and focus on the important things in life keeps me grounded. ”
