BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s Shirley Ballas posts heartbreaking personal update
Shirley Ballas posted a heartbreaking personal update on social media.
The BBC judge Strictly Come Dancing spoke on Instagram after the heartbreaking death of his brother David in 2003.
Shirley is Chief Justice on BBC Strictly alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Anton du Beke and Motsi Mabuse.

Shirley paid tribute to her brother 18 years after his death.
Shirley wrote: “A sad day of reflection, a day of mourning the loss of a loved one 18 years ago today.
“Waking up on December 5th all those years ago, I can still feel the shock of the news rush through my body, a cold, icy feeling of disbelief.
“Honey David I miss you a lot, you were my anchor my guide my brother, my go too when the going got tough and as far as those bear hugs go, I can only dream about them now.”

Shirley added, “Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you and all the times I was able to spend with you. Family was everything to you. A fierce and protective brother, son and father. .
“My mind has been all over the place this week remembering all those good and bad times and of course what could have been. A lost life that in my opinion could have been saved if we had been more educated and better understood. on communicating the feelings of what we felt Forgive me for being so uneducated.
“Mental health is the key, kindness and understanding are so important in today’s society. I will keep you in a small pocket very close to my heart, so that I can always feel close to you.
“Your beautiful daughter @mischiefminky is an amazing, kind and caring young lady who would make you very proud. Life is also very difficult for those who stay, but rest assured, wherever you are you are so loved.
“Our mom talks about you every day and I’m glad she can now express her feelings, it’s very important. She misses her boy with all of her being. Your nephew @markballas will remember a lifetime of fun and constant love from you.
“We miss you with every breath we take, keep resting in peace my dear beloved brother until we meet again. It breaks my heart to write this, but I know you are still watching. on us wherever you are. You are so loved David. “
