Cheerleader showcase: Central Dauphin Rams has 50 members

With most high school fall sports reporting focused on football, field hockey, and soccer, PennLive features area marching bands and cheerleading teams. This is the first cheerleading team, Central Dauphin, led by Faith Myers.

The events you attend

We promote college football, JV football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, wrestling and eventing.

Does the school have a separate competitive cheering team?

The competitive team is not separated. All members of our competition team applaud our sports teams.

How long is cheering season (when does training start?)

Tryouts are at the end of April and we’re cheering on our last game of the winter season, whether it’s the regular season or the playoffs. Normally in March.

The head coach is Faith Myers, who has been coaching for 25 years in the Central Dauphin School District and has been the CD’s head coach since 2006.
