During a virtual appearance on the Tamron Hall show, the 38-year-old revealed how she was coping after her three-year marriage ended and her plans to date again.

On Thursday, May 5, a clip from Burke’s interview with Hall was shared on the talk show‘s YouTube. channel, in which the choreographer shared intimate details about her relationship with Lawrence.
According to the two-time Mirror Ball ‘DWTS’ Trophy winner, the former couple tried to make their marriage work by going to therapy before and during their three-year affair.
The TV personality has described herself as a ‘great advocate’ of couples therapy, stressing that she sincerely believes it is a necessary part of their relationship.
The ballroom dancer also explained that the general belief that lovers should only seek therapy when they are in trouble is wrong, as seeking professional advice helps strengthen the relationship. In his words:
“I think it’s very healthy to have that third person who isn’t biased and can give you means and tools to communicate.”
The California native added that she doesn’t regret going to therapy because she thinks it was helpful for ex-spouses, especially to understand that ’emotions and feelings’ tend to be ‘misinterpreted’ .
However, therapy couldn’t stop the couple from writing the final chapter of their romance, a situation Burke associated with growing up. The former “I Can Do That” contestant said:
“We certainly tried. People evolve. People grow. And sometimes they grow up together, and sometimes they separate unfortunately.
As for why she decided to discuss the estranged couple’s situation, the “Dance Moms” host explained that it’s better to be “open” instead of letting people spread false rumors.
The 38-year-old noted that what happened between the exes was none of the public’s business and she would never say anything about it.
The TV presenter also shared a special message for women trying to end a relationship, assuring her heartbroken castmates that they weren’t alone in the painful process.
Although life without her significant other hasn’t been easy, the ‘Dancing Lessons‘ author has carried on with nothing but love in her heart for the ‘Boy Meets World’ actor. The ABC star said:

However, being single didn’t mean the Prime Time Emmy winner was ready to mingle. Burke confessed that finding a new lover might not happen any time soon.

After splitting in February 2022, the 38-year-old dance instructor wished to embrace her single life by documenting the journey in her latest podcast.
According to sources, “Burke In The Game” would help the choreographer “face her fears” while learning to love herself as she tries to dive into the dating pool.
The podcast series would premiere on May 10, with new episodes dropping every Tuesday, featuring conversations with the TV personality’s loved ones, life coaches, sex therapists and even some of her ex-boyfriends. .
As for the personal project, the 38-year-old admitted it would likely be the first time anyone, including herself, would see or hear the vulnerabilities she hid behind her disco ball trophies.
