Parx December 7: Analysis of the challenges of the Pennsylvania nursery

The middle of the week is usually a downtime in the racing calendar. The 2nd level tracks are organizing races while the A tracks are getting ready for next weekend. This week, the Parx racecourse is organizing a rare mid-week stakes race. The Pennsylvania Nursey Stakes will be a 7-stage clay court for 2-year-olds raised in the state.

Play Parx

Parx is a single track. He mostly features lower level horses and can be a little weird in the way he plays. Horse players are advised to watch reruns of Monday’s Card which can be found on most online betting platforms for clues to any possible race profile that may have unusual success.

General profile

Use betting information tracking bias tool it is clear that the horses most likely to win gravel races in Parx are classified as “fastest” or “fastest” from a speed standpoint and have a “leader” pace indicator.

the rail

One thing about Parx that seems to be particularly important is understanding how the rail plays. Some days the innermost position of the post will hardly stand a chance while on other days the horses may be transported to the finish in the same position.

To determine if the rail is gold, fair, or dead, look at Monday’s results and determine how the horses on the rail ran.

When doing so, it is important to remember that the result alone does not indicate a bias. Instead, look at how the rail horses performed against expectations. If 5 favorites win on the rail it may just be a fair track, but if three horses at 10-1 or more hit the board from the rail it may suggest he’s faster there. Conversely, if none of our 5 rail favorites win on Monday, that could suggest that this isn’t the place to be.
