Rashid Khan and Haris Rauf dance to a song from the movie ‘Pushpa’

Lahore Qalandars leg drummer Rashid Khan and leader Haris Rauf danced to a song from the movie ‘Pushpa’. They are one of the latest celebrities to join the trend of dancing to the song “Srivalli” and posting the video of the same on social media. A few days ago, Hardik Pandya posted a video to the same song alongside her maternal grandmother.

In the video posted on Khan’s official Instagram account, both players lost their shoes and Khan also forgot to wear the sunglasses which is necessary while filming the video as seen in the other videos. The video captioned “No glasses but it’s still ok with Trend 😂😂😂 Laka Da Mar 🐍 @harisraufofficial.

Lahore Qalandars bounce back against Karachi Kings after losing to Sultans of Multan

The 2020 runners-up Qalandars beat Babar Azam-led Karachi Kings by six wickets. Beating first, the Kings posted 170/7, courtesy of an aggressive half-century from Sharjeel Khan (60), skipper Babar Azam (41) and Joe Clarke (24).

For the Qalandars, pacemaker Haris Rauf took three wickets while Shaheen Afridi, Rashid Khan, Zaman Khan and Mohammad Hafeez took one wicket each. In reply, the Men in Red and Black chased the frame with four balls, thanks to Fakhar Zaman (106). Zaman hit 12 fours and four sixes.

In their first match of the tournament, the team managed by Shaheen Afridi had lost against defending champions Multan Sultans. Beating first, Lahore posted 206/5, with Fakhar Zaman scoring 76 alongside Kamran Ghulam’s 43 and finishing touches from Rashid Khan (17*) and David Weise (13*).

Rashid even hit a no-look six which got a lot of attention on social media. In response, the Sultans chased the target with two bullets to spare. Fly-half Shan Masood (83) and skipper Mohammad Rizwan (69) stitched together a 150-point partnership to set up victory for their side. Khusdil Shah’s 18 four-ball runs in the last against Haris Rauf got the defending champions over the line.

Meanwhile, the Qalandars are seeded fourth on the table, while the Kings are seeded last after losing all three games so far.
