The Music Hub will present a very rowdy Christmas holiday concert on December 17 at Fort Myers Brewing | News, Sports, Jobs

Local musicians come together to support a local nonprofit’s holiday toy drive by performing the A Very Rowdy Christmas (A Totally Non-Rowdy Event) concert on Saturday, December 17 from 6-9 p.m. Fort Myers Brewing Company.

A production of The Music Hub, the free, family-friendly Christmas show will feature several live music acts, including Irish pub singing and show band The Rowdy Bards, plus special guests Sheena Brook and Chris Bepko. The show will also feature spirited performances by students from the Naples School of Irish Dancing, as well as a special solo sung by 96.9 WINK-FM concert host and on-air personality Maggie Potts.

The Christmas spirit will come alive with a great old-fashioned Christmas carol and free photo ops with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus. Fort Myers Brewing will also offer a range of special holiday beers and several local food trucks will serve food on site.

Attendees are encouraged to come in their most festive attire and bring donations of new, unwrapped toys to benefit the Lewis P. Tabarrini Children’s Music Outreach Foundation’s annual toy drive, bringing holiday cheer to children around the needed throughout the region. Additionally, all contributions to the musicians’ tip jar that night will go directly to the Foundation, which offers group musical instrument lessons through the Rock Fort Myers School to local children who don’t. can’t afford to pay for lessons. In 2021-2022, the organization provided over 300 hours of music education to deserving children who otherwise would not have the resources at all to be exposed to music.
